Adult and Children Sports-related Injuries

Whether you're a weekend warrior or competitive athlete, sports injuries can sideline your favorite activities faster than you'd like. At Lake Sammamish Foot & Ankle, we specialize in treating foot and ankle injuries affecting all ages—from young athletes to active adults.

We use modern technology and almost 30 years of experience to get you back to your activities the quickest and safest. Dr Richardson also assesses the patient’s unique anatomy and physiology to reduce reoccurance of the problem as well as injury prevention for the future.

Dr. Richardson has first-hand experience with multiple sports injuries that required surgical intervention as both a teen and adult. These experiences helped drive her to become the surgeon she is today. She understands, from the patient’s perspective, the injury and healing process experience both physically and emotionally.

Why Kids & Adults Suffer Similar Injuries (Yet Need Different Care)

Children's bones are still growing, making them prone to unique injuries like apophysitis (inflammation at growth plates). Adults, meanwhile, deal with wear-and-tear conditions like degenerative tendinosis. Our team customizes treatment for each age group, using evidence-based approaches that get you back in the game safely.

Don't let pain stop your active lifestyle—schedule a consultation today!
